Teacher of the Year
Support Staff of the Year

The Marshfield School District, along with the Marshfield School Foundation and the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce, is seeking nominations for the Teacher of the Year and the Support Staff Employee of the Year Awards.

The Teacher of the Year Award is presented to a teacher who has had a special impact on students in the district.  The Teacher of the Year receives a monetary award from the Marshfield School Foundation.  Any non-administrative certified employee may be nominated for the award.  This includes teachers, counselors, and library media specialists.

The Support Staff Employee of the Year is designed to show the district’s appreciation for its support staff employees.  The Support Staff Employee of the Year also receives a monetary award.  Any non-certified employee in the district can be nominated for this award.  This includes secretaries, paraprofessionals, social workers, and nurses. 

Nomination forms are available at the Marshfield Schools Central Office, 170 State Hwy DD, the district’s website, mjays.us, building offices, and the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce.  The nominations should be mailed to 170 State Hwy DD, Marshfield MO 65706, or e-mailed to the district at celebrateateacher@mjays.us.

Nominations for Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Employee of the Year are due March 11, 2016.

The Webster County Health Unit will be in District for the Tdap and Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine clinic March 15.

Tdap and now MCV4, will be state required for incoming 8th grade students to start their 8th grade year.

MCV4 will now be state required for Seniors. Any current Seniors are also welcome to participate in the clinic.

There will be forms available from the nurses' offices that must be completed in order for your child to participate.

These forms will be available in March.
